THE USUAL SUSPECTS
I changed things up last week and moved from my usual Dangerfield auto selection to Tom Mitchell. It didn't backfire, but it also didn't reap the rewards I initially thought.
It's mighty hard to ignore Dangerfield against the Hawks this week and if you have him, he's the safest option by a long shot. The only worrying variable I can see with Danger this week is his sub 100 average playing at the MCG. The Hawks are in disarray at the moment however, and Danger could very well produce a 130+ score here - if the Suns ripped the Hawks last week, imagine what the Cats are going to do to them. Hawthorn leak points to midfielders anyway, even in their prime, blokes in the middle at Hawthorn rarely played accountable football - bar Liam Shiel.
The other option I like this week is Pendles, he should be good for a 110-120 minimum, and is a safe VC if you have both like I do.
From the opposition specialist, I really like Sloane's form at the minute. He has great form over the first three rounds and has given the Dons some spankings in the past. Adelaide are red hot and they should account for the Dons easily in this one - Sloane for 120+ i'll predict as a minimum.
Personally, I won't be loopholing this week. We have a double loophole with Thursday and Friday games being partial lockouts. Therefore you have your pick of 4 teams to whack the VC on if you want the double chance. I really have no players from any of the four teams to think about here - perhaps Dahlhaus, but his form doesn't even warrant a VC. Below are my top 5 picks for the loophole this round... *Don't forget to check out the loophole explained video if you are unsure of how this all goes!
